Nostra Signora di Roverano

The white stone church stands between olive groves and chestnut trees, featuring a single nave with a Latin cross plan and two small bell towers.

The sanctuary origins date to 1350 when, according to records, Mary appeared to two shepherdesses near Mount Roverano, leading to the discovery of a Marian painting.

The main celebration takes place on September 7th with a procession, followed by additional festivities on September 8th for the Nativity of Mary.

Located at Via Roverano 5, the church belongs to the Diocese of La Spezia-Sarzana-Brugnato and welcomes visitors throughout the year for masses and prayers.

The sanctuary preserves a 16th-century painting of Madonna and Child on its main altar, placed there since 1875 as a central devotional element.
