Villa Mandella

Villa Mandella features a square main building with rectangular barns on each side, surrounded by gardens and enclosed by a stone wall with decorated pillars.

The villa was established in 1589 when Knight Andrea Mandelli settled in Isola Rizza and commissioned architects to design a grand estate with a central manor house.

The architectural design follows traditional Venetian villa principles, incorporating symmetrical layouts, multiple levels, and formal gardens that reflect Renaissance garden artistry.

Visitors can access the villa through an avenue that extends from the main drive, crossing through the park before reaching the three-level structure.

The eastern section houses a lemon house with a rectangular plan and decorative columns, designed specifically for protecting citrus plants during winter months.
