The castle is a private residence and cannot be visited; it can only be seen from outside. It is reached by the road that starts at the valley station of the Colle cable car, on the slope of Kampenn above the Eisack and Eggen valleys. The building stands opposite Castel Cornedo on the other side of the Eggen valley.
