Bus di Tacoi

Bus di Tacoi is a cave located on Redondo Mountain at 1500 meters elevation with ascending and descending routes featuring multiple climbing sections. The underground passages and chambers create a complex network that defines the entire structure of this geological formation.

The name comes from the Bergamask language and refers to mountain sparrows whose calls echo near the entrance. These bird sounds gave the cave its distinctive local name.

Inside temperature stays at a constant 10 degrees Celsius, so visitors should bring warm clothing and prepare for complete darkness and high humidity. A lamp or headlight is essential for navigating through safely.
