The San Michele Arcangelo Church features a brick bell tower with four elegant double-arched windows and an octagonal dome supported by four pillars.
The church structure, built between 1533 and 1537, replaced an older deteriorated building from 1181 that served as both a church and pilgrim hospital.
The interior contains a 14th-century fresco of Madonna with Child attributed to painter Tommaso da Modena, preserved from the previous medieval church.
The building now functions as a cultural center managed by Famiglia Fidentina association and the local branch of Italia Nostra since 1978.
The structure combines central Greek cross layout with Bramante architectural principles, demonstrating pure Renaissance design principles in religious architecture.
