Complesso monumentale di Santa Croce e Tutti i Santi, Renaissance religious complex in Bosco Marengo, Italy.

The Santa Croce and Tutti i Santi complex is a Renaissance religious structure near Bosco Marengo featuring a church with a broad central nave, side chapels, and artistic decorations. The interior displays works by Giorgio Vasari alongside marble monuments and other sacred furnishings from that period.

The monastery was founded in 1566 under the direction of Pope Pius V, with architects Ignazio Danti and Martino Longhi overseeing construction. It evolved into a significant religious center in the region.

The monastery displays artworks from the 16th century, including a wooden choir, rare marble sculptures, and illuminated manuscripts. These rooms once formed the spiritual center of monastic life and reflect the religious devotion of that era.

The site is accessible to visitors year-round and offers both church and museum spaces to explore. It is helpful to wear comfortable shoes for walking the grounds and allow time to view the artworks on display.

The complex was one of the first places in Europe where the reforms of the Council of Trent were practically implemented. This role made it a model for other religious communities of the period.
