The Teatrino di Corte is an exquisite example of an 18th century Italian theatre.
Designed by architect Luigi Vanvitelli, this court theatre was inaugurated in 1769.
It demonstrates the rich performing arts history in the region of Caserta.
Today, visitors can witness the theatre's original décor preserved inside the Royal Palace.
Despite its grandeur, the Teatrino di Corte possesses an intimate atmosphere with only 80 seats.
