Hattori Ryokuchi Park

Hattori Ryokuchi Park is a large green space in Toyonaka featuring hilly landscapes, multiple ponds, and streams. An extensive network of walking paths winds through different areas, allowing visitors to explore the varied terrain.

An open-air museum within the grounds preserves twelve authentic farmhouses from different Japanese regions spanning the 17th to 19th centuries. These structures display how people lived in traditional Japanese communities.

A stage relocated from Shodoshima Island hosts traditional Kabuki performances within the grounds. These theatrical events connect visitors with Japanese performance traditions.

The park is easily reached through Ryokuchi-koen Station and has plenty of parking available for those arriving by car. Weather and daylight hours can affect your visit, so check opening times before you go.

The grounds contain stone tombs dating from the 12th to 16th centuries along with their original markers, forming an outdoor historical display. These archaeological remains reveal the area's ancient settlement patterns.
