Ujigami Shrine, Shinto shrine in Uji, Japan
Ujigami Shrine is a Shinto shrine in the city of Uji in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan.
The shrine's main hall is a designated National Treasure and is said to be the oldest extant shrine architecture in Japan.
It is dedicated to Emperor Ōjin and his sons, Emperor Nintoku and Emperor Richū.
The shrine is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site 'Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto'.
The shrine is famous for its fresh water spring, which is considered one of the best waters in Kyoto.
