Sky Gate Bridge R, Airport bridge in Japan
The Sky Gate Bridge R, also known as the Kansai International Airport Access Bridge, is a double-deck cantilever truss bridge in Japan.
Completed in 1994, it was specifically built to connect the mainland with the man-made island where Kansai International Airport is located.
The bridge is an iconic symbol of modern Japanese engineering and infrastructure.
It carries both vehicular traffic on the upper deck and train lines on the lower deck.
At 3.75 kilometers, it's one of the longest airport bridges in the world.
