Ogi

Ogi is a city in Saga Prefecture that stretches from the Tenzan Mountains in the north down to the Ariake Sea in the south. The terrain includes forested hills, agricultural areas, and coastal plains that create distinct zones within the city's boundaries.

The city served as a regional administrative center during the Edo period under the Ogi Domain's control. This role shaped its early development until major restructuring took place at the end of the 1800s.
