The Printing Museum occupies the ground floor of the Toppan Printing headquarters, displaying a collection of 70,000 artifacts related to printing technology.
The museum collection includes the Hyakumanto Dharani, which stands as the earliest printed document in the world, dating back to ancient Japanese history.
Through exhibitions and specialized programs, the museum highlights the role of printing technologies in shaping Japanese communication methods across generations.
The museum welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Sunday between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with the last admission at 5:30 PM each day.
Within the Printing House section, visitors can participate in hands-on experiences using traditional letterpress printing machinery to create their own materials.
