Shigisan Engi Emaki, Buddhist temple in Japan
Shigisan Engi Emaki is a set of three illustrated handscrolls, depicting the miracles performed by the monk Myōren.
The scrolls were created during the 12th century, in the late Heian period.
These scrolls are considered an important cultural property and are designated as National Treasures of Japan.
They are currently preserved at Chōgosonshi-ji, a Buddhist temple located on Mount Shigi.
