Spean Praptos, Ancient bridge in Cambodia
Spean Praptos, also known as the Kampong Kdei Bridge, is one of the longest corbelled stone-arch bridges from the ancient world.
Constructed in the 12th century during the reign of King Jayavarman VII, it has been used for over a thousand years.
The bridge stands as a testament to the advanced architectural skills of the Khmer Empire's engineers.
Though no longer in use for vehicular traffic, it serves as a significant tourist attraction.
Spean Praptos features 21 arches and was part of the ancient highway connecting Angkor with the eastern part of the empire.
