Dongduk Women's University

Dongduk Women's University is a private women's institution in Wolgok-dong, Seoul, with eight colleges and seven graduate schools. The facilities spread across several locations in the city and offer modern research and teaching areas.

The institution began in 1950 as Dongwon Girls School, before receiving university status after several expansions. The move to the present campus occurred before official recognition as a university in the late 1980s.
