Taebaeksan National Park

Taebaeksan National Park is a mountain reserve with peaks above 1,500 meters and varied nature across hilly terrain. The area features multiple hiking trails of different difficulty levels, dense forests, rock formations, and natural springs scattered throughout the grounds.

The area was a provincial protected zone for many years before gaining official national status in 2016. This recognition established it as the country's 22nd national park and acknowledged its value for nature and cultural heritage.
