The Saint Dominic Church features eight altars within its stone walls, displaying intricate woodwork and religious artwork throughout its interior spaces.
Construction of the church started in 1676 under the patronage of Laurynas Mykolas Počobutos-Odlanickis and his wife Marijona from the Siesickiai family.
The interior of the church represents one of the most complete examples of Folk Baroque style in Lithuanian religious architecture.
The church maintains regular visiting hours and offers guided tours where visitors can learn about monastic traditions and architectural details.
Visitors can experience medieval manuscript writing using goose quills and sample traditional monastic recipes in the restored monastery barn.
