Church of St. John the Baptist, Ramygala‎, Religious edifice in Ramygala, Lithuania.

The Church of St. John the Baptist is a neo-Gothic red brick building with a cruciform layout dominated by a 70-meter tower. The interior spans 48 by 24 meters with a ceiling height of about 15 meters.

A wooden church dating to 1781 was replaced by the current neo-Gothic structure completed in 1907. The building was consecrated by Bishop Pranciškus Karevičius in 1914.

The interior features six large pillars and three oak altars with Gothic pinnacles, reflecting the craftsmanship of local artisans. Stained glass windows and religious sculptures show the artistic tradition of the place.

The church is open to visitors during religious services and holds space for large gatherings. It is best to check opening times in advance and visit during service hours for the full experience.

The building stands on the site of a former pagan temple called romuva, marking the transition from Baltic beliefs to Christianity. This religious transformation remains an important part of the place's story.
