Saint Therese of the Child Jesus church in Raudondvaris, Catholic church in Raudondvaris, Lithuania.
Saint Therese of the Child Jesus church is a basilica-style building measuring about 53 by 27 meters with two towers flanking its facade. Its architecture blends Neo-Baroque and Neoclassical elements, creating a structured and balanced appearance.
The site began with a wooden chapel built in 1785, which was replaced by a stone church in 1856. That structure was destroyed in 1915, but the current building rose from 1930 to 1938.
The interior displays religious paintings by Aleksandras Sledzinskis and G. Berti, which decorate the walls throughout the building. Tomb sculptures by I. Pampaloni are integrated into the space and create moments of reflection for those walking through.
The church is easy to locate in the town center thanks to its two distinctive towers that stand out from surrounding buildings. Visitors can enter freely outside of active services to explore the interior at their own pace.
The churchyard holds memorial stones and the grave of pastor Jurgis Kuzmickas located near the rear wall of the building. These burials provide insight into the spiritual leaders who shaped the community's religious life over generations.
