Church of the Assumption, Joniškis

The Church of the Assumption in Joniškis is a brick building featuring a 59-meter tower topped with a spire and an interior divided into three naves with seven altars. The structure displays detailed brick exterior work and mosaic tile flooring inside.

A wooden church was first established at this location in 1536 under the direction of the Bishop of Vilnius. The current brick structure was completed in 1901 following the design of architect Karl Eduard Strandman.
