The manor originated in the 16th century when founded by the Šiukštai family. A major transformation took place in 1730 under the Prozoras family, who replaced wooden structures with brick buildings that define its current appearance.

The manor serves as a venue for the Pažaislis Music Festival since 2003, drawing musicians and audiences for concerts and creative events throughout the year. This role has made it a gathering place where visitors can experience live performances in an intimate setting.
