Parc Merveilleux

Parc Merveilleux is an amusement park featuring animal enclosures, fairy tale settings, adventure playgrounds, and a miniature railway that runs throughout the grounds. Visitors move through different themed zones designed for exploration and play.

Founded in 1956, the park evolved from a small attraction into a major recreational destination in southern Luxembourg. Gradual expansions and updates over the decades shaped it into the family-focused venue it is today.

The park brings traditional fairy tales to life through dedicated areas where children can directly experience and explore stories from European folklore.

The park operates daily from Easter through early October and has restaurants, cafeterias, and covered terraces for dining. Wear comfortable shoes for walking and arrive early on nice days to avoid crowds.

The Amazonia section houses tropical species from five continents, including pelicans, pink flamingos, monkeys, and crocodiles. This covered area provides a jungle setting that stands out distinctly from the rest of the park.
