Rāzna National Park, National park in Latgale region, Latvia.
The 59,615-hectare park contains Lake Rāzna, Latvia's second largest lake, along with extensive forests, meadows, and 26 wooded islands in Ežezers Lake.
The establishment process began in 1989 when the Environmental Protection Committee documented the declining condition of Lake Rāzna compared to previous decades.
The protected territory maintains the traditional features of Latgale landscapes through its combination of lakes, forests, castle mounds, and agricultural lands.
The Nature Conservation Agency manages the park across three municipalities: Rēzekne, Krāslava, and Ludza, with specific protection rules for different areas.
Lielais Liepukalns, rising 289 meters above sea level, stands as Latvia's third highest point and provides views across the surrounding landscape.
