Svēte Manor is a stone building with vertical columns that were added in 1774 during a renovation designed by architect Severin Jensen for Duke Peter von Biron. The manor was established in 1701 as a residence for a noble family. From 1870 onward, it was repurposed for military use, a function that continued until 1993.
