Large Guild, Concert hall and office building in Old Town, Latvia
The Large Guild stands on Amatu Street with English Gothic architectural elements, featuring high-pointed arches and decorative stone carvings across its exterior.
German merchants established the Large Guild in 1353 when the city's Order master transferred the building to guild representatives as a meeting place.
The Latvian National Symphony Orchestra performs regular concerts in the main hall, which underwent modifications in 1965 to enhance its acoustic properties.
The building contains multiple rooms suitable for conferences and events, including the medieval Minster Room and the ornate Bride's Chamber.
Stained glass windows from 1888 line the main staircase, depicting merchant activities and important commercial sectors of medieval Riga.
