Raiņa kapa piemineklis, Granite tombstone in Meža cemetery, Riga, Latvia.
The red Finnish granite monument features inscriptions and stands at the end of a central avenue in the Meža cemetery.
The monument committee selected architect Pēteris Ārends and sculptor Kārlis Zemdega's design in 1931, completing construction in 1935.
The memorial marks the resting place of Rainis, a Latvian poet who influenced national literature through his verses and dramatic works.
The monument remains open for visitors throughout the year, accessible through the main entrance of Meža cemetery on Aizsaules Street.
The inscription on the monument reads 'And strong I will rise towards the sun above', taken from one of Rainis's poems.
