Ksar Metlili Formation, Geological formation in Figuig Province, Morocco
The Ksar Metlili Formation is a geological layer in Figuig Province composed of alternating beds of mudstone, sandstone, and calcareous material stacked atop one another. These ancient sediments preserve remains of small animals and reveal what the environment was like millions of years ago.
