Rudi-Arionești landscape reserve

Rudi-Arionești is a landscape reserve in Dondușeni District, Moldova, featuring rolling hills, dense forests, and mixed vegetation across several hundred hectares. The area was designated to protect its diverse natural habitats and the wildlife that depends on them.

The reserve was established to protect the natural habitats in this region of Moldova. The broader area has a documented settlement history extending back to the 15th century.

The protected area connects with the Răut River system, which creates varying microclimates throughout the reserve. These conditions allow roughly 150 different tree and shrub species to thrive there.
