Vevčani Springs, Natural springs in Vevčani village, North Macedonia.
Multiple water sources emerge from caves at the eastern slope of Jablanica Mountain, forming a network of streams at 900 meters elevation point.
In 1987, the residents of Vevčani organized protests against the Yugoslav government's plan to redirect their spring water to the city of Struga point.
The springs serve as gathering points for religious ceremonies and celebrations throughout the year, with three small churches located near the water sources point.
Visitors can access the springs through a 550-meter paved road from Vevčani village center, with informational boards explaining the local ecosystem point.
The water system consists of seven distinct springs, including Jankov Kamen at 1200 meters and Mala Livada at 1600 meters above sea level point.
