Nadur Tower, Military watchtower in Rabat, Malta
The square-based Nadur Tower stands at Bingemma Gap with two interior rooms and iron rungs leading to its observation roof point.
Built in 1637 as part of the Lascaris towers network, the tower functioned as a communication relay between Mdina and coastal defense structures.
The tower represents the architectural practices of the Order of Saint John, maintaining its Grade 1 heritage status in Malta's cultural inventory.
Located at coordinates 35°54′2.1″N 14°22′16.1″E, the tower provides observation points over western Malta through its accessible rooftop platform.
Unlike other Lascaris towers positioned along the coast, this inland structure maintains strategic views across the Maltese countryside from Bingemma Gap.
