Museum Boerhaave

Museum Boerhaave is a science and medicine museum in Leiden that collects objects from about four centuries. The exhibitions show scientific instruments, medical devices, and laboratory apparatus arranged across different galleries.

The museum was founded in 1931, building on a successful exhibition from 1907 at Leiden University. It occupies a former convent building, which links the location's history with its role as a center of learning.
