Sound and Vision The Hague, Media and communication museum in The Hague, Netherlands
Beeld en Geluid Den Haag was a museum dedicated to postal history, telecommunications, and media culture in the city. The collections occupied multiple floors and displayed how communication evolved across Dutch society.
The museum opened in 2019 at Zeestraat 82 and continued the tradition of presenting communication history through artifacts and documents. It closed permanently in July 2024.
The museum maintains three permanent exhibitions, including 'Iconen van de Post' which demonstrates the evolution of postal stamps in Dutch society.
The museum building has not been accessible since July 2024. Educational programs and activities now take place at the Central Library at Spui in The Hague.
Visitors could explore secret messages written on postcards through the 'Briefgeheimen' exhibition, revealing personal stories of Dutch communication.
