Sprookjeswonderland

Sprookjeswonderland is an amusement park in Enkhuizen designed for young children with mechanical rides, puppet shows, and a small farm in both indoor and outdoor areas. The facility offers various play zones and attractions specifically tailored for preschool-aged visitors.

The park began in 1973 with a single gnome doll and later grew into a family-oriented destination. Over the years, more attractions and areas were added, continuously expanding the offer for young guests.

The park displays fairy tale figures from European stories through automated puppets and interactive elements that introduce children to these narratives. Visitors can explore different scenes and encounter traditional characters brought to life through handcrafted details.

The park is located about 60 kilometers from Amsterdam and offers free parking for visitors. Families can bring their own food and beverages, making the visit more flexible.

Many of the attractions are handmade on-site rather than purchased off the shelf, giving each area a special character. The founder remains actively involved in running the park today and continues to shape its development.
