Koornbeurs

The Koornbeurs in Delft is a former grain trading building with classical Dutch architectural features and stone walls. Located at Voldersgracht near the city's canals, it now serves as a cafe and event space with various rooms for gatherings.

The building was constructed in the 17th century to replace an earlier wooden structure, following Dutch Classical design principles. Architect Hendrik Swaef designed it specifically for grain trading during a period when Delft was an important commercial center.

The tea loft upstairs offers over 40 different tea varieties that visitors can taste and enjoy. The cellar hosts spontaneous music jam sessions each month where local musicians bring instruments and play together informally.
