Niersen, Rural hamlet in Epe, Netherlands
Niersen is a rural hamlet in the municipality of Epe in the Dutch province of Gelderland, located roughly three kilometers west of Vaassen. The settlement borders the Kroondomein Het Loo royal estate to the south and west.
The earliest written record of Niersen dates to 1335, when it appeared in documents under the name Marka niirsen. This early mention establishes the hamlet's connection to the region's past.
