Dobbeplas

Dobbeplas is a recreational lake in Nootdorp spanning around 64 hectares with good water quality suitable for swimming. A designated swimming zone with floating markers sits in the northern section for bathers.

The lake was created from excavation work and later developed into a recreational area for the Pijnacker-Nootdorp municipality. This transformation shows how former industrial sites were repurposed for public enjoyment.
