Kasteel Vosbergen

Kasteel Vosbergen is a noble house with two connected wings topped by saddle roofs and a cellar beneath the rear section. The building combines residential spaces with entertaining areas designed into its two-story structure.

Construction began in the 16th century and underwent major renovation in 1623 following its documented ownership by nobleman Gerlich Doys in 1558. The property evolved under different owners who adapted it to their residential needs over time.

The estate functions as a residence and wedding location, preserving its original architectural elements as a moated brick noble house of modest dimensions.

The castle interior is not open to the public, but visitors can walk around the surrounding estate and follow marked paths through the grounds. The walking routes offer good access to the outdoor areas and allow you to appreciate the setting from different angles.

The meadows in front of the castle become an ice skating rink during winter, creating a seasonal link between the community and this historic place. This transformation marks how locals relate to the property throughout different parts of the year.
