Built in the 16th century and renovated in 1623, the castle first appeared in documents from 1558 when nobleman Gerlich Doys received the estate.
The estate functions as a residence and wedding location, preserving its original architectural elements as a moated brick noble house of modest dimensions.
While the castle interior remains private, visitors can explore the surrounding 40-hectare estate and follow the Vosbergenpad, a 14-kilometer walking trail.
The meadows facing the castle transform into a public skating rink during winter, connecting the local community to this historical property.
