The complex was built in 1924 as a monastery and girls' boarding school, originally housing the Sisters of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. It underwent significant renovation to transform it into a contemporary student residence.
The structure displays architectural features of Art Deco and brick expressionism, with the chapel set within the cloister courtyard as a focal point. You can see how religious and artistic elements blend throughout the building's design.
