Genbroek Castle

Genbroek Castle is a fortified manor complex in Beek, Netherlands, comprising various structures such as a stone barn, icehouse, pump house, and a bridge with retaining walls. The ensemble also includes aviaries and is surrounded by moats that define the entire property.

The castle was founded in 1225 in a swampy area called Gebrook and took its main form around 1360 through significant construction work. This transformation made it an important residential stronghold in the Dutch landscape.
