Slangenburg Castle

Slangenburg Castle is a U-shaped brick structure featuring a moat and multi-story wings extending on three sides, located near Doetinchem in a forested setting. The building retains its original layout and contains furnished rooms available for visitors to stay overnight.

The property was built in 1354 as a manor house and underwent major transformation in 1675 when new owners redesigned it according to contemporary building styles. This restructuring significantly expanded the side wings and established the castle's current appearance.
