Grote Kerk

Grote Kerk is a Protestant church with Neo-Renaissance architecture, distinguished by high ceilings and large windows that flood the interior with light. The building can hold several hundred worshippers and serves both for religious services and various community events.

The foundation stone was laid in 1891 by a 10-year-old princess, with the new structure built on the foundations of an earlier place of worship from 1842. This connection between old and new shows how the site remained a center of worship across generations.
