FC Twente-trainingscentrum

FC Twente's training facility is a football complex in Hengelo with six fields, including a match pitch, four standard training grounds, and an artificial turf field. The complex also has a fitness area, changing rooms, and dedicated spaces for technical and medical staff.

The facility opened in June 2001 when the club relocated to make way for the new Grolsch Veste stadium. This move represented a significant step in the club's modern development.

The training center serves as a meeting point for players of all ages, from youth academies to professional teams. Coaches and staff work here daily to shape the development of young talent.

The complex is well-organized with separate areas for different training groups, making it easy to find your way around. The facility is accessible on training days but typically does not offer public tours without prior arrangement.

The facility operates under a special partnership between FC Twente and the Municipality of Hengelo, with local authorities managing part of the infrastructure. This arrangement allows local teams and sports groups to also benefit from the modern facilities.
