Sint-Lambertuskerk, Church building in Horst aan de Maas, Netherlands.
The Sint-Lambertuskerk features a prominent 68-meter tower and contains three large bells that resonate in the notes E1, F1, and G1.
The current church, completed in 1952, replaced an earlier structure dating from 1219 that German forces destroyed during World War II in 1944.
The church interior displays stained glass windows created between 1952 and 1960 by Dutch artists Jos ten Horn and Gilles Franssen.
Visitors can access the church treasury and exhibition space in the crypt, which houses preserved religious artifacts from previous centuries.
Archaeological excavations under the current building revealed remnants of an ancient Romanesque chapel, indicating the first religious structure at this location.
