De Beyart

De Beyart is a residential care facility in Maastricht that provides housing and support services for older adults, set within generous garden grounds. The complex features private living quarters alongside common spaces where residents can gather and participate in daily activities together.

The facility was founded in the 1980s initially to house retired religious brothers and sisters. Over the following decades, it gradually welcomed older adults from the general population and evolved into a modern care institution.

The grounds are accessible on foot with plenty of seating areas scattered through the gardens where visitors can rest. The pathways are mostly level and paved, making exploration manageable for people with limited mobility.
