Het Stenen Huis

The building exhibits traditional Dutch architecture with a distinctive stepped gable design and features locally sourced marlstone construction with a saddle roof configuration.

Het Stenen Huis dates back to the period between the 16th and 17th centuries, representing architectural practices and building techniques from the Late Gothic period in Limburg.

The structure contains numerous architectural elements from the Late Gothic period, including an original fireplace that demonstrates the craftsmanship of historical Dutch builders.

Located at Burgemeester Wolfsstraat 34 in Sint Geertruid, the building received its Rijksmonument designation in 1967 under monument number 34695.

The west facade of the building underwent modifications throughout its history while maintaining its original character through the use of traditional construction materials.
