The Martyrs of Gorcum Church features red brick architecture with lancet windows, decorative friezes, and multiple pitched roofs covered in Dutch tiles.
The church, constructed between 1929 and 1931, replaced a wooden chapel from 1880 at the site where 23 Catholic clergy members were executed in 1572.
The interior preserves original elements including altars, statues, and a bronze reliquary containing remains of the martyrs crafted by Gebroeders Brom workshop.
The sanctuary welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Sunday between 1:00 PM and 4:30 PM during the pilgrimage season, which runs from June to September.
The National Pilgrimage celebration takes place annually near July 9th, featuring processions and services at the site where the Gorcum Martyrs met their end.
