H.H. Martelaren van Gorcum is a red brick church with pointed-arch windows, decorated friezes, and multiple roofs topped with Dutch tiles. The 1930s building replaced an earlier wooden chapel that stood on this site.
History
The building was constructed between 1929 and 1931 and marks a site rooted in the region's past. In 1572, during religious conflicts, 23 Catholic priests were executed at this location.
