Gold Rush

Gold Rush is a steel roller coaster in Slagharen featuring a 400-meter track with a maximum height of 33 meters. The ride includes multiple inversions and launches that propel riders forward and backward through the course.

The roller coaster opened in April 2017 at Attractiepark Slagharen, replacing the Thunder Loop that had closed the previous October. This transition marked the park's efforts to modernize its ride collection.

The ride draws inspiration from the 1848 California Gold Rush, weaving mining and frontier themes into its structure. Visitors experience a sense of adventure connected to this historical period through the design choices.

The ride accommodates 20 passengers per train across 5 cars, with 4 seats per row. This capacity allows the attraction to process roughly 800 visitors per hour.

The coaster was manufactured by Gerstlauer as an Infinity Coaster model and features specialized elements like a top hat, sidewinder hill, and dive loop. These design features create moments of intense airtime and turning forces for riders.
