Eendenmuseum

The Eendenmuseum is a private museum housing over 300 Citroën 2CV vehicles displayed across approximately 5000 square meters of exhibition space. The collection includes cars from different production variants and manufacturing periods arranged together.

Edwin Groen started collecting individual Citroën 2CV cars and transformed his personal passion into a publicly accessible museum over the last few decades. His dedication to this popular model resulted in the creation of this substantial collection.

The museum displays carefully arranged scenes from different decades showing how Dutch people incorporated these simple cars into their daily routines. The period settings with vintage shopfronts reveal the preferences and habits of those who chose this practical vehicle.

The museum operates on limited days and requires advance arrangements, so it is important to check schedules beforehand. Contacting the staff in advance helps ensure a smooth visit and appropriate access to the collection.

Many of the 2CV cars in the collection remain in original condition and have never been driven on public roads since they left the factory. These unused vehicles showcase the pristine state in which they were manufactured.
