The Lisser Art Museum presents artworks centered around food, drink, and consumption in a contemporary building with large glass walls on Keukenhof Estate.
The museum opened its doors in 2019 on the grounds of Keukenhof Castle, introducing a new cultural destination to the region of Lisse.
Instead of traditional information panels, the museum employs viewing coaches who engage visitors in discussions about their interpretations of the displayed artworks.
The museum welcomes visitors from Wednesday through Sunday between 10:00 and 17:00, with admission prices of €7.50 for adults and €5.00 for children.
Every artwork in the collection connects to food or consumption, including a porcelain installation showing one year of meals and mineral-crafted grape clusters.
