Official residence of the Prime Minister

Inkognitogata 18 extends across 3030 square meters and incorporates both modern structures and historical buildings connected through gardens and walkways.

The residence became operational in 2008 after extensive construction work that merged existing buildings from Parkveien 45, Inkognitogata 18, and Riddervolds gate 2.

The building functions as a center for governmental leadership, where the Prime Minister and a team of 55 staff members coordinate national policies.

The complex contains 670 square meters of office space and allocates 400 square meters for the Prime Minister's private living quarters.

The construction project, led by Statsbygg and designed by Riseng & Kiehl AS Arkitekter, required an investment of 315 million Norwegian kroner.
